New HP Mini 5102, 210, and 2102 Netbooks Now Official
January 7, 2010 – 9:29 pmHP has officially unveiled three new netbooks which based on Intel’s Pine Trail platform, namely HP Mini 5102, HP Mini 210, and HP Mini 2102. The new HP Mini 5102, HP Mini 210, and HP Mini 2102 netbooks comes with 10.1-inch diagonal LED display which offers WSVGA or HD resolutions, and a long lasting battery which offers up to 10 hours battery life.
Claimed as the HP’s first touch-enabled netbook, The HP Mini 5102 is designed for students and mobile professionals alike. The HP Mini 5102 comes in two configurations, including standard or touch-enabled version, which both of them have an all-metal case in black, red or blue brushed finishes and offers a range of features.
The HP Mini 5102 features a large 10.1-inch diagonal LED display, supports high-resolution 720p and 1,080-pixel HD video content with the optional Broadcom HD video decoder technology, the latest Intel Atom N450 (1.66GHz) processor, built-in 2-megapixel webcam with HP Face Recognition, 95 percent of full-size QWERTY keyboard, plus a touchpad, and a choice of either a four-cell battery for lighter weight or six-cell battery for longer battery life (up to 10 hours).
On the other hand, the HP Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 netbooks are designed for business traveller or student who needs a mobile device which has a slim and stylish design, full connectivity options, and provides a long lasting battery life.
Measuring less than 1-inch thin and weighing at 2.69 pounds, the HP Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 netbooks packs a 10.1-inch diagonal standard or optional Brightview Infinity HD LED widescreen display, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, up to 1GB of RAM, up to 320GB of Hard Drive, WLAN, an optional 3G broadband connectivity and GPS, island-style keyboard that is 92 percent the size of a standard notebook PC keyboard, a built-in webcam and microphone, and Windows 7 OS.
The HP Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 is expected to be available in the US market starting today with a prices at $299 for the HP Mini 210 and $329 for the HP Mini 2102. While the HP Mini 5102 is expected to be available starting this month in US with a price at $399.
